    Cardware

    Cardware is een vorm van software waarbij de auteur als tegenprestatie voor gebruik een ansichtkaart wenst te ontvangen. Omdat er geen financiele vergoeding tegenover staat is het freeware, het auteursrecht berust bij de maker van het programma.

    Gebruik van cardware komt voornamelijk voor bij via het internet verspreide software. Dit zijn over het algemeen de lichtere applicaties. Het adres waar de auteur de kaart wenst te ontvangen is veelal vermeld in een van de brondocumenten van de software.

    Op 14 februari 2002 verscheen in de Volkskrant een artikel met als titel Slimme software in ruil voor een ansichtkaart.

Shareware versie

The shareware version of this application is fully functional except the save, print and edit functions. In the shareware version the timebar is always available with a delay of about 15 seconds. Shareware allows you to try a program before you buy it. If you like this easy program and find it useful, you are requested to support it by registering the software. The price of the registered version is only a Postcard of your Town or Country with your E-mail address and I'll send you the serialnumber of this program by E-mail.
